DRUG ABUSE
A.
Drugs: basically a medicine which if
misused its use can lead to dependence.
B.
Narcotics: drugs come from plants or no
plants that can cause a drop / change of consciousness, loss of taste, reduce
to relieve pain and can lead to dependence.
C.
Psychotropics: natural or synthetic
drugs and is not that potent psychoactive drug with central nervous system that
causes a typical changes in mental activity and behavior.
D.
Other addictive ; is alcohol which is sedative (tranquilizing),
hypnotics, depressants, cigarettes.
EFFECTS RESULTING
A.
Depressant: the types of substances used
for reducing the functional activity of the body. This type makes users feel
fly, even asleep, unconscious. For example: opium, morphine, heroin, codeine,
and sedative
B.
Stimulants: a substance that can
stimulate the body's function and increase the excitement of the work (fresh
and spirit) eg ecstasy, caffeine, cocaine, amphetamines
C.
Hallucinogens: a substance that can
cause hallucinogenic effects that change your feelings and thoughts are often
accompanied by hallucinations, eg, cannabis, and mescalin.
